The green time, won’t let it take root
During the last few months, I have been immersed in a project entitled ‘The green time, won´t let it take root”. Parallel to this theoretical research, I have been creating these artistic pieces, which represent an experimentation with different materials such as ceramics, the kintsugi technique, transparent PVC, stainless steel, plants and the programming of an Arduino for irrigation.
The exoskeleton, roots, legs, cells, coltan, fungi, insects, ceramics and the harmonious relationship between forms are key elements in understanding these small ecosystems. They arise in response to questions such as: How can we explore the connection between human beings and their environment?
With the intention of reconsidering the links we establish with other species, he explored through artistic practice the capacity to generate new methods of relating to other forms of life through these small ecosystems. Fusing art, science and design, I seek to transform and reorient our thinking towards new forms of symbiosis between organisms.
This project is in the process of development.
